(ESHL/LHSE) -The Bouctouche Maritime Doors & Windows scored 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to break a 3 - 3 tie and went on to win 6 to 3 and take a 2 - 0 lead in their best of 7 semi-final series against the Memramcook Air Repairs tonight at the Forum. Bouctouche scoring came from 6 different players namely Francis Comeau, Yves Losier, Ryan Salvis, René-Guy Haché, Martin Allain and Pierre Richard. Memramcook scorers were Lucas Martin, Jason Thibodeau and Jamie McCabe. The score was 2 - 1 in favour of Bouctouche after the 1st period and 3 - 3 after the 2nd. Luc LeBlanc was the winning goaltender and Michel Breau took the loss. The remaining games for this series are still being worked out.

Richibucto takes commanding 3 - 0 lead in semi-finals
(ESHL / LHSE) - The Richibucto Rum Runners won both their weekend games to take a commanding 3 to 0 lead in their best of 7 semi-finals against the Sackville Bud Lite Combines. Friday night, in Sackville, Jason Rinzler had 2 goals and 1 assist to lead the Rum Runners to a 7 to 3 win over the Bud Lite Combines. The rest of the scoring came from Allain Gallant, Etienne Robichaud, Philippe Cormier, Mark Ripley and Ryan Gillis all with 1 goal each. Derek Rushton, Nicolas Laplante and Trevor Peterson replied for Sackville. Benoît Melanson got the win in nets while Mike Charlton took the loss. Saturday night in Cocagne, it was Richibucto with an 8 - 2 win over the Bud Lite Combines. Leading the way for the Rum Runners was Scott Sack with 2 goals and 3 assists, Mark Ripley chipped in with 2 goals while single goals went to Jason Rinzler, Mark Fillmore, Jesse Lymburner and Evan Levi. Sackville scorers were Matt Bowes and Toby Knockwood each with a goal. Pierre-Luc Thériault was the winning goaltender while Mike Charlton suffered the loss. Game no. 4 of this best of 7 semi-finals series will be played in Sackville Friday, March 12th at 8:30 pm and game no. 5, if necessary, will be back in Cocagne on Saturday, March 13th at 8:15 pm.
