'Bines play 2 home games this weekend

(Sackville) - There are 4 games scheduled for this weekend in the Eastern Senior A Hockey League. Friday will see Richibucto in Sackville to take on the Bud Lite Combines with game time set for 8:30 pm. For this game Combines fans are asked to give generously as all the proceeds from the 50/50 will be donated to Hockey Moms for Cancer. On Saturday, two of the teams tied for 1st place will clash in Cocagne when the Bouctouche Maritime Doors & Windows take on the Richibucto Rum Runners at 8:30 pm. There are two games scheduled on Sunday, the first game having the Memramcook Air Repairs travelling to Sackville in a rare Sunday game to play their arch rivals the Bud Lite Combines at 5:15 pm. This game is billed as Minor Hockey Day in Sackville with all minor hockey players allowed free to the game. Players are asked to wear their white hockey jerseys if possible. The 2nd game on Sunday will have the Shediac Capitals in Bouctouche at 6:45 pm to take on the Maritime Doors & Windows. Going into the weekend, three teams namely Richibucto, Bouctouche and Memramcook tied for 1st place all with 22 points. Richibucto maintains a slight edge having 2 games in hand on Bouctouche and 5 on Memramcook. In the scoring race, Michael LeBlanc of Bouctouche continues to lead with a 3 points lead over Justin Johnson of Richibucto.
