After weekend play, the Eastern Senior A Hockey League has 3 teams now tied for 1st place namely Richibucto, Bouctouche and Memramcook. Friday night in Shediac, Corey Martin scored at the 19:59 mark of the 3rd period to give the Memramcook Air Repairs a hard fought victory over the Capitals by a score of 6 to 5. Jean-Marc Borgeois and Anders Frees each had 2 goals while singles came from Jamie McCabe and Corey Martin. Shediac was led by the 2 goals performance of Ryan Card with Albert Cormier, Travis Duguay and Darryl Cormier with each one goal. Marc Gagnon was credited with the win in nets while Michel Cormier suffered the loss. On Saturday in Rogersville, Richibucto Rum Runners won easily over the Sackville Bud Lite Combines 14 to 3. Scott Sack had the hat trick, Mark Rippley, Jason Nelson and Marc-André Arsenault all with 2 goals each. Jason Rinzler with 1 goal and 4 assists while other single markers came from Etienne Robichaud, Allain Gallant, Jesse Lymburner and Philippe Cormier. Sackville scoring came from Matt Bowes with 2 goals and 1 assist and a single from Nicolas Laplante. Benoît Melanson was the winning goaltender while Jim Curry took the loss. Sunday in Memramcook, the Air Repairs came out on top of the Bouctouche Maritime Doors & Windows by a score of 4 to 2. Leading the way for the Air Repairs was Jamie Vautour with 2 goals and 1 assist while Jamie McCabe and Billy Riley Jr. each chipped in with a goal. Bouctouche scorers were Michael LeBlanc and Marc LeBlanc. Michel Breau took the win in nets while Luc LeBlanc suffered the loss.
